How much is the wig allowance in Region Uppsala?
In Region Uppsala the maximum allowance is SEK 5 000 per 12-month period for adults. The amount covers a wig or other hair replacement and the fitting. The exact amount is always stated on your own requisition (rekvisition) – that is what applies.
Can I try on wigs in person in Uppsala?
Yes. Our salon is at Skolgatan 49 in central Uppsala, and we see customers by appointment in a calm, private setting. You are also very welcome at our salon by Odenplan in Stockholm if that suits you better – the same range and the same prices apply at both.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, all visits are by appointment – we don't take drop-ins. This lets us give you our full attention in a private, safe setting. We are open on selected days of the week in Uppsala, so get in touch in good time and we will find a time that suits you.
Can I use my requisition from Region Uppsala in your online shop?
Yes, absolutely. If you prefer to stay comfortably at home in Uppsala, we have a smooth digital system. You choose your wig in the online shop and contact our customer service before completing the purchase, and we help you register your allowance directly at checkout.
What happens if the wig I want costs more than my allowance from Uppsala?
