Keratin Extensions

Each strand has a keratin bond at the top. It's softened with a heat tool and shaped around a thin section of your own hair. Keratin is the same protein that hair is made of.

Another name for the same thing. Nail hair refers to the keratin bond being shaped like a small nail before it's installed.

The strands are sold in packs of 20. 20–40 give highlights or filling in, 40–80 thickening, 100–140 lengthening and 160–200 an extra full result. Longer hair needs the upper end of each range.

3–4 months. They aren't moved up like tape and micro rings – the bond is removed with remover and the strand is reinstalled from scratch with new keratin.

Yes. The attachments are the smallest of all our methods and sit individually, so the hair moves freely in every direction without anything showing.

Tape and weft sit in rows, while keratin sits in individual bonds placed wherever you want them. That gives more styling freedom, but the installation takes longer.

So they don't mat together at the root. Do it with your fingers every day, especially in the first few weeks – otherwise both reinstallation and removal become more difficult.

Oil, silicone and conditioner can make the keratin bond slip. Apply conditioner and masks to the lengths and ends, never at the root.

Yes, the bonds handle sweat and washing well. Rinse your hair after working out and don't let it dry clumped together at the root.

No, keratin requires a heat tool and experience. We do installation, reinstallation and removal in Stockholm and Uppsala.
