Clip-in hair extensions give you length and fullness in minutes, and you take them out yourself at the end of the day. No appointment, no glue, no heat. Here you will find clip on sets in 100% human hair across six textures, plus a vegan option in synthetic fiber.
We have worked with hair extensions since 2009 and only sell hair we fit ourselves at our salons in Stockholm and Uppsala.
How much hair you get
The weight decides what you can actually do with a set. Most clip on sets on the market sit at 100–120 grams.
- Luxury human hair – 150 g across 6–7 pieces. Enough for a full hair extension with room to spare.
- Classic human hair – 100 g across 7 pieces. Gives added thickness or a lighter extension.
- Vegan synthetic – 240 g across 4 wide pieces. Maximum volume, worn whole or in part.
With fine or thin hair a lighter set goes a long way. With thick hair you need more grams for the extensions to blend in rather than sit on top.
Choosing a quality
Luxury is our best human hair. It is Remy, meaning every strand runs the same way from root to tip. It tangles less, holds its shine and takes color. We guarantee Luxury when our recommended haircare is used.
Classic is human hair at a lower price. It styles and takes heat, but it is not Remy, so it tangles a little more and has a shorter life. A good way to try clip-in before investing.
Vegan is our synthetic option, with no animal hair at all. The wave pattern sits in the fiber and never needs restyling, but the hair cannot be colored and takes less heat.
Choosing a texture
Match the extensions to your hair as it looks air-dried, not as it looks blown out. Straight and Wavy suit most people. Curly and Deep Wave should be matched to your own curl pattern. Yaki is made for relaxed or blown-out natural hair, Kinky for natural afro hair.
If you are unsure, we will help. Send a photo in daylight of unwashed, air-dried hair and we will look at it with you.
How to fit them
Part the hair horizontally and clip the upper section up. Backcomb lightly at the roots where the clips will sit and press them closed until you hear a click. Start with the widest pieces low on the head and work upwards. Never place a piece so high that it shows in the parting.
Care
Always take the set out before sleeping. Wash rarely and only when needed, with a mild shampoo and a moisturizing mask, and let it dry flat. Always use heat protection when styling. Store the set in a bag or on a hanger, not rolled up in a drawer.
Frequently asked questions
How many grams do I need?
Count on 100 grams for clear added thickness and 150 grams for a full hair extension. With thick hair you are at the upper end, with fine hair at the lower.
Can I sleep in clip-in extensions?
No. The clips pull at the roots as you move in your sleep and the hair tangles. Always take the set out before bed – this is also why clip-in wears less on your own hair than permanent methods.
How long does a set last?
Luxury lasts for years with the right haircare, because it is only worn for a few hours at a time. Classic has a shorter life. We offer no guarantee on the vegan set, though we carry haircare that considerably improves its durability.
Can I color or cut the hair?
Human hair can be cut, colored and heat-styled like your own. We recommend having a hairdresser cut the set in so the transition is soft. The vegan set cannot be colored or bleached, so choose your shade from the start.
Is clip-in different from clip-on?
No, they are the same thing. Clip-in and clip on set are two names for hair extensions attached with clips.
