Vanliga frågor

How do a closure and a frontal work?

A closure or frontal is sewn in on top of the head to finish a weave, or used when you make your own wig. Every strand is hand-tied on a thin lace that blends with the skin, so the hair looks as if it grows straight from your own scalp.

How long do they last and how do I care for them?

With regular moisture and gentle handling, they last for several months. The lace is delicate, so brush carefully from the bottom up to avoid loosening the hand-tied strands.

What is the difference between a closure and a frontal?

A lace closure (5x5 inches) or silk base (4x4 inches) covers the middle of the head, and you can change the part within that area. A lace frontal (13x4 inches) runs from ear to ear and creates a completely new hairline, so you can place the part anywhere and style the hair back. A closure is easier to care for and a good choice for beginners.

Who are these hair pieces for?

Anyone who wears a weave or makes their own wig and wants a natural hairline. They are also a good choice as a protective style, since your own hair gets a rest from heat tools.

Can you put in a closure or frontal for me?

Yes. We put in closures and frontals together with weave in Stockholm and Uppsala, cut the lace to your hairline and can bleach the knots. The consultation is free.

Are they sewn or glued in?

We sew them in and never use glue. This protects your hairline and means the hair piece can be used again.

What are bleached knots?

The knots where the strands are tied to the lace are bleached lighter, so they don't show as small dots. This makes the scalp look more natural.

Can they be colored and heat styled?

Yes, they are human hair and can be colored both darker and lighter and heat styled with heat protection. Avoid putting color directly on the lace and knots.

How do I wash a closure or frontal?

Wash with a mild, sulfate-free shampoo in lukewarm water and pat dry instead of rubbing. Put conditioner in the lengths, not on the lace, so the knots don't loosen.

Which size should I choose?

A lace closure is 5x5 inches and a silk base 4x4 inches, and on both you can change the part within the area. A lace frontal is 13x4 inches and gives a free part from ear to ear, so you can also wear your hair up.
