How does a halo hairband work?

The hairpiece sits on a thin, transparent wire that is placed like a crown around the head. Your own top hair is let down over the wire and hides it.

Where do I place the wire?

Roughly one to two centimetres behind your natural hairline. Section off your top hair first and let it down over the wire afterwards.

Does the wire show?

The wire carries the weight of the hair against your head instead of pulling on individual strands. No clips in the roots, no glue against the skin and nothing left in while you sleep.

Is a halo right for me if my hair is very thin?

Yes, as long as you have enough hair on top to cover the wire. If it is sparse in that area, a hairpiece or topper works better.

What is the difference from clip-in?

Can I color or style it?

Yes, human hair can be colored both darker and lighter and handles flat irons and curling irons with heat protection.

Can I sleep or train with it on?

Take it off before you sleep or shower. It stays put during gentle workouts, but if you move a lot, clip-ins are a better fit.

How do I care for it?

Brush from the ends upward, wash rarely and only when needed, and let it air dry flat. Store it hanging or flat, not rolled up.

That's why we recommend the halo for a sensitive scalp, fragile hair or when your hair needs a rest from other methods.

What you need to know
A halo requires enough of your own hair on top to cover the thread. If your hair is very thin right there, the thread may show, and a hair piece or topper works better.

How to put it on
Section off the top layer, place the thread one to two centimeters behind your hairline, fasten the clips and let your hair down over the thread.
