How much is the wig allowance in Region Halland?
In Region Halland the wig allowance is up to SEK 7 000 excluding VAT per calendar year. If you also need false eyelashes or eyebrows, there is a separate allowance of SEK 1 400 excluding VAT per calendar year. What happens if the products I want cost more than my allowance?
If you choose a wig, for example in human hair, that exceeds Region Halland's allowance, that's no problem. You simply pay the difference yourself, directly at the online checkout or when you visit our salon.
Does the wig allowance in Halland apply per calendar year or per 12 months?
In Region Halland both the wig allowance and the allowance for eyelashes and eyebrows are calculated per calendar year (1 January to 31 December). The prescription is valid for five years as long as you are registered as resident in Halland.
Can I use the wig allowance for special shampoo, conditioner or tape?
No, under Region Halland's guidelines the allowance only covers the wig, hair replacement and professional fitting. Accessories and consumables for daily care at home (such as special shampoo, conditioner, wig stands or tape) are not included and you pay for them yourself.
Do I need to book if I want to travel and visit your Stockholm salon?
Yes, always book in advance. If you are passing by, you'll find us in Stockholm by Odenplan and in Uppsala. Since you are travelling some distance from Halland, we want to guarantee you a private, quiet room dedicated entirely to you and your fitting.
Who can issue a wig requisition in Region Halland?
The requisition is issued after a medical assessment by authorised, licensed healthcare staff in Halland, usually your treating specialist, for example in oncology or dermatology.
