How much is the wig allowance in Region Kronoberg?
In Region Kronoberg the allowance is up to SEK 7 000 per calendar year for a permanent need and up to SEK 4 000 per calendar year for a temporary need. The amounts are stated excluding VAT. For children and young people up to and including age 19, the full cost is covered. If the product costs more, you pay the difference yourself, and the amount on your own requisition (rekvisition) always applies.
Can I use my requisition from Kronoberg in your online shop?

What happens if the wig I want costs more than my allowance?
If you find a wig, for example in human hair, that exceeds Region Kronoberg's allowance, that's no problem. You simply pay the difference yourself, directly at the online checkout or in the salon.
Does the allowance in Kronoberg apply per calendar year or per 12 months?
In Region Kronoberg the allowance is calculated per calendar year (1 January to 31 December). This means that if you have a long-term or permanent need, your balance is reset at the turn of the year, and you can then get a new requisition for the coming year.
Can I use my allowance for medical scarves or turbans?
Yes, in Region Kronoberg the allowance can also be used for alternative headwear such as specially adapted scarves or turbans if you prefer them to a traditional wig. You can order them directly from us.
Do I need to book if I want to visit your physical salon in Stockholm?
Yes, always book in advance. Our salons are in Stockholm by Odenplan and in Uppsala. That way we can guarantee you a private, safe setting and our full attention.
Are care products, tape and wig stands included in the requisition?
No, under Region Kronoberg's guidelines the allowance only covers the wig, hair replacement or scarf itself and the professional fitting. You pay for accessories and consumables for daily care at home (such as special shampoo, conditioner or tape) yourself.
Who can issue a wig requisition in Region Kronoberg?
The requisition is issued by an authorised prescriber within healthcare after a medical assessment. It is usually your treating specialist (for example in oncology or dermatology) who issues the document to you.
Can I choose a human hair wig with my requisition?
Yes, you are completely free to choose the solution that feels most natural and comfortable for you, whether it's a high-quality synthetic wig or a human hair wig. If the product costs more than SEK 7 000, you simply pay the difference yourself.
