What is the difference between a men's wig, a toupee and hair replacement?

A toupee, or hair replacement system, covers only the area where your hair has thinned and blends with your own hair. A men's wig covers the whole head.

Is a toupee or a full wig right for me?

If you still have hair at the sides and back, a toupee is often enough. If the hair is gone all around, a full men's wig is the right choice.

Should I choose human hair or synthetic?

Human hair can be cut, styled and colored like your own. Synthetic is ready straight away and keeps its style after washing, but has a shorter lifespan.

Will people notice I'm wearing a wig?

Not when it is properly fitted. We cut the wig to your hairline and match the length, density and shade to your own hair.

Does a men's wig stay securely in place?

Yes. Our men's wigs are glueless and stay in place with adjustable straps. Wig tape and glue are available as accessories if you want extra hold.

Can I exercise wearing a men's wig?

Yes. For exercise and in the heat we recommend wig tape for extra hold. Wash the wig a little more often if you sweat a lot.

How long does a men's wig last?

A synthetic men's wig lasts 1–3 months depending on how often you wear it. Human hair lasts considerably longer with the right care.

How do I care for my men's wig?

Wash human hair once a week to every other week and synthetic every other week, with products for the material. Let the wig air dry on a wig stand.

Can I get rekvisition for a men's wig?

If you live in Sweden and lose your hair due to illness or treatment, you may be entitled to a grant. We are an approved supplier in all 21 regions and invoice the region directly.

Can I get advice in private?

Yes. We see clients by appointment in Stockholm and Uppsala, and also offer free online consultations.

Here you will find our hair solutions for men – from a toupee that fills in where your hair has thinned to a full men's wig. Whether your hair has thinned over the years, after illness or treatment, or you simply want a new look, we will help you find a solution that looks natural and is comfortable to wear all day.

Toupee or full wig?
A toupee, also called a hair replacement system, covers the area where your hair has thinned, usually on top of the head or at the hairline, and blends with your own hair around it. It suits you if you still have hair at the sides and back. A full men's wig covers the whole head and is the right choice when the hair is gone all around.

Human hair or synthetic
A human hair men's wig can be cut, styled and colored just like your own hair, and Lace Front Plus gives a natural hairline at the front. Our synthetic men's wigs have a Classic Cap and are ready to wear straight away. The style is set in the fiber, so the wig looks the same after every wash. The synthetic fiber tolerates heat up to 120 °C and lasts 1–3 months depending on how often you wear it.

A perfectly straight hairline rarely looks natural on a man. We cut the wig to follow your own hairline and match the length, density and shade to your hair, so the result looks like your own.

Secure all day
Our men's wigs are glueless and stay in place with adjustable straps, with no glue against the skin. If you want extra hold for exercise or in the heat, wig tape and glue are available among our accessories.

Care
Wash a human hair men's wig once a week to every other week as needed, and a synthetic wig every other week. Use products made for the material and let the wig air dry on a wig stand.
