What are straight extensions?
Straight extensions are completely sleek from root to tip, without waves or curls. They give a classic, glossy and elegant look and are the easiest texture to style and care for. With real straight hair you can wear it sleek, curl it with a curling iron for anything from beach waves to tight curls, or colour it, just like your own hair.

Who are straight extensions for?
Straight extensions suit you best if you have naturally straight or slightly wavy hair. When the texture matches your own hair, the extensions blend in without visible transitions. If your hair has clear waves or curls, the result is usually more natural with wavy extensions, curly extensions or Deep Wave extensions. If you have relaxed or blow-dried Afro hair, Yaki can be a better choice than regular straight, because Yaki has more body and a more matte shine. Straight extensions for every method
We have straight extensions for all our methods, and you choose what suits your everyday life. Tape has flat, discreet attachments that are moved up every 8–10 weeks. Keratin consists of individual strands that stay in for 3–4 months before reinstallation. Micro rings and micro weft are installed without heat or glue and moved up every 2–3 months. Butterfly weft and invisible weft are thin wefts with an extra flat and comfortable fit, and sew-in is a classic method for lots of hair and fullness. How many straight extensions do I need?
It depends on the thickness of your own hair and what you want to achieve. With keratin we roughly calculate like this, in packs of 20 strands: 20–40 strands for highlights or filling in, 40–80 for thickening, 100–140 for lengthening and 160–200 for extra fullness. At the consultation we work out the exact amount for you, so you buy neither too little nor too much.

Qualities, lengths and colours
Our real hair extensions come in the qualities Classic, Premium and Luxury. Luxury is our best quality and lasts the longest, and both Premium and Luxury are Remy hair with the cuticles running in the same direction, which reduces tangling. Our straight extensions come in lengths from 40 to 70 cm and in a wide range of colours from Jet Black and Natural Black to Platinum Blonde, plus ombré and piano colours. The range varies between products, so check each product for current colours and lengths. The colour chart shows every shade, and with a colour sample (available in Sweden) you can compare the colour with your own hair before you order.

Styling and colouring straight extensions
Real straight extensions can be heat-styled. Always use heat protection and avoid daily styling so the hair lasts longer. Our real hair can also be coloured both darker and lighter, and we recommend having a stylist do the colouring to preserve the quality of the hair. Synthetic extensions tolerate heat up to 120 degrees but cannot be coloured.

How to care for straight extensions
Straight extensions are the easiest texture to care for. Wash when needed with a gentle shampoo – we recommend KIS KeraMoist for dark hair and KIS KeraMax for lighter hair – and moisturise the lengths with KIS argan oil for shine and less frizz. Avoid heavy products near the attachments. Squeeze out the water with a microfibre towel and brush daily with an extension brush: start at the ends and hold the hair at the attachments. Braid the hair loosely at night and ideally sleep on a silk pillowcase or with a silk bonnet to avoid tangles. How long the hair lasts depends on quality, method and care, and with the right care Luxury lasts the longest.
