Frequently asked questions about tape extensions
Basic Straight Tape Hair Extensions are made from 100% real remy hair with a naturally straight finish. The tape-based system provides an easy and discreet application that blends naturally with your own hair.
With proper application and care, Classic tape-in extensions can stay in place for up to 8–10 weeks before needing to be moved up. The tape can be reused multiple times if the hair is cared for properly.
Yes, as it is made from real remy hair, you can use straighteners, curling irons and other heat tools to create different styles. We recommend that you always use heat protectant to protect your hair.
Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to wash your hair and apply conditioner only to the lengths, not the tape. Brush your hair gently with a wide-toothed comb and avoid sleeping with wet hair.
For a full hair extension, 2–3 packs of Basic Straight Tape Extensions are usually needed, depending on the desired volume and thickness of your own hair.
20 grams spread across 10 taped wefts, regardless of the length you choose.
From 50 to 60 cm, measured as stretched straight hair.
Wait at least 48 hours before washing your hair or sweating heavily, so the tape has time to set.
Yes, the hair can be colored both darker and lighter since it's 100% human hair.
Our C-22 remover gently dissolves the tape without damaging your natural hair.
