Texturizer, Keratin Treatment & Shave Permanent in Stockholm
Keratin treatment, texturizer and relaxer all tame frizzy, hard-to-manage hair, but in different ways. A keratin treatment does not straighten your hair — it tames frizz and gives curly hair finer, more defined curls, while a relaxer is the method for a completely straight result. We carry out all three treatments at both of our salons, in Stockholm and in Uppsala.

A keratin treatment adds strengthening proteins that seal the cuticle and tame frizz, without straightening the hair. Permanent straightening instead breaks down and rebuilds the bonds in the hair for a straight structure. Both are applied in sections and activated with heat to seal the result.
A keratin treatment washes out gradually and usually lasts three to five months, while permanent straightening gives a lasting result that then has to grow out from the roots. To make it last, use sulfate-free and deeply moisturizing products only.
Unlike a mask that only softens the hair temporarily, these treatments change the structure and surface of the hair for a lasting effect. Keratin focuses on removing frizz and caring for worn hair, while permanent straightening gives a more intense and lasting straight result for very curly hair.
A keratin treatment suits curly, wavy or frizzy hair if you want softer, more manageable hair with the curl kept - the curls often become finer and more defined. Permanent straightening suits you if you want a completely straight result. Both reduce the need for daily heat styling.
