Cheap wigs online in Sweden
A wig being affordable doesn’t have to mean it looks cheap. The difference lies in what you choose to spend your money on - and what you can skip without anyone noticing.
Here, we go through what you actually get at each level, so you can choose with your eyes open instead of guessing.
Vegan synthetic - the lowest price, least maintenance
Our vegan synthetic wigs are the most affordable way to get started. The fibre is heat-resistant and looks natural, and the biggest advantage is that it returns to its shape by itself when it dries. You never need to restyle the wig after washing.
What you give up: you cannot colour it, and it lasts for a shorter time than human hair with daily use. Many people solve this by having several and alternating between them, which is both cheaper in the long run and makes each one last longer.
Human Hair doesn’t have to cost more
Several of our wigs made from 100% Human Hair cost less than a synthetic wig. The difference is that they have a classic cap instead of lace - and since lace is the most expensive part to manufacture, the wig offers significantly better value.
You therefore get material that can be heat-styled, coloured by a hairdresser and reshaped just like your own hair, at a low entry price. It is the most underrated way to get started with human hair.
What you shouldn’t compromise on
Two things determine whether a wig looks authentic, and both are worth paying for.
The hairline. Either the wig has lace along the hairline, or it has a fringe that covers it. If it has neither, the edge will show, and then the quality of the hair matters less.
The fit. A wig that is loose looks wrong no matter how beautiful it is. We adjust the size and trim the lace to your hairline in the salon - that is often what makes the biggest difference with an affordable wig.
All our wigs are glueless
Regardless of price level, the wig stays in place without glue or tape. You put it on and take it off yourself every day, without products against your skin and without putting strain on your own hair.
With a requisition, the region pays
If you have hair loss after chemotherapy, alopecia or another illness, you are entitled to a subsidy from your region. We are an approved supplier for wig requisitions in all 21 regions and invoice the region directly, so you do not need to pay upfront. Also see our wigs for hair loss and cancer treatment.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a cheap and an expensive wig?
Primarily the material and construction. Synthetic fibre costs less than human hair, and a classic cap costs less than lace or a hand-tied mono top. The more handwork involved, the higher the price - and the more freedom you have in how you can wear the hair. We go through all the constructions on the page our wig models.
Does a cheap wig look fake?
Not if the hairline is handled correctly. A fringe wig in vegan synthetic fibre can look completely natural because the fringe covers the transition. What gives a wig away is almost always the hairline or the fit, not the price.
Can I style a synthetic wig?
Yes, our vegan wigs are heat-resistant and can withstand straighteners and curling irons on low to medium heat. Always start on a low setting and test on a small section at the nape first, as overheated fibre cannot be repaired.
How long does a cheap wig last?
A vegan wig generally lasts from a few months up to a year with daily use. A human hair wig lasts for several years. If you alternate between several wigs, each one will last significantly longer.
Can I colour a synthetic wig?
No, synthetic fibre does not absorb hair colour. If you want to be able to recolour it, you need a human hair wig. Instead, choose the right shade from the start - we are happy to help you match it to your own hair.
How do I wash it?
Use lukewarm water and shampoo intended for wigs. Rinse in the direction of the hair, never rub, pat the water out with a towel and leave it to air-dry on a wig stand. Hot water can damage synthetic fibre.
Which wig is suitable if it’s my first?
A wig with a fringe. It requires no styling, no glue and no experience with lace - you put it on and it looks finished straight away.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Book a free consultation in the salon and you can try several models and shades. If you live farther away, we can hold the consultation online.
