Wigs with Bangs

A wig with bangs is the easiest way to get a finished hairstyle that is ready straight away – the bangs hide the hairline completely, so there is no lace to trim and nothing that needs styling. Available in both human hair and vegan synthetic hair, always glueless.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a fringe and curtain bangs?

A straight fringe covers the forehead completely and frames the face most clearly. Curtain bangs are parted in the middle and fall softly to the sides. Curtain bangs are easier to wear if you're not used to a fringe, as they can be styled away from the face.

Does the fringe hide the hairline completely?

Yes, that's the whole point of a fringe wig. Because the fringe lies over the hairline, the transition between wig and skin never shows, so you don't need a lace front. That makes the style both easier to wear and more affordable.

Can I cut the fringe myself?

We advise against it. A wig fringe is cut differently from your own hair, and the material doesn't grow back if it ends up too short. We cut and shape the fringe for you in the salon so it suits your face exactly.

Does a fringe suit every face shape?

Almost. If you have a rounder face, curtain bangs usually suit you best because they draw the eye vertically. If you have a high forehead or a longer face, a straight fringe usually works brilliantly. We're happy to look at it together in a consultation.

Is a fringe wig a good choice if I've never worn a wig before?

Yes, it's the style we most often recommend to anyone wearing a wig for the first time. It needs no styling, no glue and no practice – you put it on and it looks finished straight away.

Can I use heat on a vegan wig?

Yes, our vegan wigs are heat-resistant and can take a straightener and curling iron on low to medium heat. Always start low and test on a small section first. Too much heat can permanently damage the fibre.

How do I wash the wig?

Lukewarm water, a shampoo made for wigs, and never tangle the hair up in the basin. Rinse in the direction of the hair, pat the water out with a towel and let it dry on a wig stand. Never rub.

Does the fringe keep its shape after washing?

A vegan wig regains its shape by itself as it dries – that's one of its biggest advantages. A human hair wig needs styling after washing, just like your own hair.

Can you adjust the wig to fit my head?

Yes. In our Wig Atelier we take the wig in to size, add elastic and cut the style so it sits as it should. That applies both to wigs bought from us and to wigs you already have.

Can I use a requisition (rekvisition) from my region?

Yes. We've been an approved supplier for wig requisitions (rekvisition) in all 21 Swedish regions for many years. If you've received a requisition from your healthcare provider, we'll help you with the whole process.

Everything you need to know about Wigs with Bangs

Fringe wigs – a finished style straight away
A wig with a fringe is the easiest way to get started and the style we most often recommend to anyone wearing a wig for the first time. The fringe lies over the hairline, so the transition between wig and skin never shows. You need neither lace that has to be cut nor any special skill.

Fringe or curtain bangs?
A straight fringe covers the forehead completely and often suits you if you have a high forehead or a longer face. Curtain bangs are parted in the middle, fall softly to the sides and can be styled away from the face. They're easier to wear if you're not used to a fringe.

Human hair or vegan?
Vegan is heat-resistant, costs less, and the fringe falls into place by itself once the wig has dried. Human hair can be reshaped and coloured at a hairdresser and lasts for several years, but the fringe needs shaping after every wash.

Never cut the fringe yourself
A wig fringe is cut differently from your own hair and doesn't grow back. We cut and shape the fringe to suit your face shape in the salon and adjust the size of the cap at the same time.

Care
Wash in lukewarm water with products made for wigs, rinse in the direction of the hair and let it air-dry on a wig stand. Never rub.
