How it works
The hairpiece that finishes your weave
A lace closure or lace frontal is human hair knotted into lace and placed on top of the head. It covers where the wefts end and gives a parting and hairline that look like they grow from the scalp.

How it is installed
We sew in your hairpiece
- We braid your hair into cornrows close to the head
- The wefts are sewn onto the braids with needle and thread
- The hairpiece is sewn in on top and gives the parting and hairline
A lace closure or lace frontal can also be glued, but we sew it in – it holds better.

Care
Make the lace last longer
Washing
Mild, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Wash downward and do not rub the lace.
Brushing
Start at the ends and work your way up. Never pull on the lace edge or the knots.
Sleep
Sleep in a silk scarf or on a silk pillowcase to protect the lace and reduce tangling.
Heat
Use heat protection and avoid direct heat on the lace and knots.

The hair is human Remy hair and can be coloured both darker and lighter. We recommend having a hairdresser do the colouring so the silk base and lace are protected.
With the right routines and gentle handling, your silk base closure can stay beautiful for many months. The key to a really long life is frequent moisturising of the lengths and very careful brushing.
Unlike a regular lace closure, this version has an extra layer of silk that completely hides the knots. This makes the parting look exactly like a real scalp, with no need to bleach any knots.
