Frequently asked questions about
Our wig repair service involves repairing damage, replacing worn parts and restoring the quality of the wig. We can fix broken laces, thin areas, tangled hair and other signs of wear and tear to make your wig look like new again.
We can repair worn laces (lace front/full lace), reattach hairs, fix holes, fill in thin areas and restore the shape and volume of the wig. If you are unsure if your wig can be repaired, contact us and we will make an assessment!
The repair time depends on the extent of the damage, but it usually takes between 1-3 weeks. We will give you an estimated time frame once we have examined your wig.
If your wig is 100% human hair and otherwise of good quality, it is usually more economical to repair it than to buy a new one. A repair can extend the life of the wig by several months or even years.
If your wig has lace damage, lost volume or is worn out, it is usually repairable. Send us pictures and we will make a quick assessment and give you a recommendation!
Once we have assessed the wig, we will get back to you with a total price for the work and hairpiece. We will not begin anything until you have approved it.
Contact us before you place your order so we can assess it. We need to evaluate the quality and size in order to stand behind the result.
It often works, but it depends on how the wig is constructed. Send photos before ordering and we’ll let you know; a frontal costs more than a closure.
No. The region’s subsidy covers hair replacements as well as fitting and cutting-in, but not repairs or maintenance. You pay for lace replacement yourself, even if you have a requisition.
Never pull directly on the front edge when removing the wig, use a gentle solvent if you glue it on, and let the hair air-dry on a wig stand.
