Human hair toppers
A hair topper – also called a topper or top piece – is a hair piece placed over the area where your hair is thinnest, usually along the part or on top of the head. It clips into your own hair and takes seconds to put on and take off. The topper blends with your own hair around it and adds fullness exactly where you need it.

Hair topper or wig?
A hair topper suits you if you still have hair around the sides and back but have thinned on top or along the part, for example after hormonal changes, stress or with age. The clips need your own hair to grip securely. If you have very little hair left, or have lost it completely, a wig is the better choice.

Why human hair
Human hair moves and falls like your own. It can be blow-dried, straightened and curled with heat protection, and colored both darker and lighter by a hairdresser. Our Luxury toppers are Remy hair, with all strands running in the same direction for less tangling and more shine. The Classic Hair Topper is human hair but not Remy – a good choice at a lower cost.

Choose the right base
The mono base is hand-tied and lets you change your part freely. The silk base gives the most natural look at the part, as it resembles the scalp. The lace base has an invisible edge and suits you if you want to wear your hair up. Fishnet is airy and breathes best if you wear your topper all day.

The right size
Choose a base slightly larger than the thin area, so the clips grip stronger hair around it. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your part from above in daylight and we will help you.

Fitting, cutting and color matching
At our salons in Stockholm and Uppsala we fit the topper, cut it in to blend with your own hair and match the color, so the transition is invisible. We also use the Luxury Hair Topper Deluxe in our mesh hair extension method, where the topper is attached to stay in longer.
