The base is the part that sits against your head. It decides how natural the parting looks, how breathable the topper feels and how freely you can style it.

Where do you need coverage?
- 1PartingA standard topper is enough. Choose mono or silk if you want to show your parting up close.
- 2CrownA standard topper covers the crown. If your hair has thinned over a larger area, Silk Large or Large Lace is a better fit.

How to attach your hair topper
Step 1
Place the topper over the area you want to cover, with the front edge of the base where you want your hairline.
Step 2
Press the clips into your own hair, one at a time, until the base feels secure.
Step 3
Brush the topper together with your own lengths for a soft transition.

Care
Wash gently with sulphate-free shampoo and moisturise with conditioner. Let it air dry on a wig stand and do not rub it with a towel. Use heat protection when styling and stick to low to medium heat. Store your hair topper somewhere dark and cool, brushed out.

Frequently asked questions about hair toppers
A base where the hair is knotted through a thin silk layer so the knots sit underneath. From above, it looks like scalp rather than mesh.
Silk looks the most natural at the parting because the knots are hidden. Mono lets you move the parting more freely. Choose silk if the parting will show, and mono if you change your style often.

Match the ends of your own hair to the hair in the topper – that's where they meet and blend. If you're between two shades, we're happy to help.
If you can't find your shade among those in stock, we can order the topper in your colour. Delivery takes longer than for in-stock items – get in touch and we'll go through the colour matching together.
You can show the parting freely, but the base has an edge. If you want to wear your hair up high or pulled back, a lace base gives you more freedom.
The hair can be toned darker by a hairdresser. We advise against bleaching as it damages the hair's structure.
With gentle care, over a year. The silk base washes well but shouldn't be rubbed with a towel.
Take the topper off before you sleep, otherwise it tangles unnecessarily. It works for exercise, but sweat shortens its lifespan.
