Frequently asked questions about Butterfly Weft
Butterfly Weft is attached to small, gentle micro rings in your own hair through its pre-punched holes – nothing is sewn. This gives an exceptionally flat attachment that doesn't pull and blends invisibly with your own hair.
It's made of 100% human hair in Luxury quality to guarantee long durability and maximum shine. This premium hair tangles less and behaves exactly like your natural hair as you go about your day.
Squeeze out the water with a towel and apply a light curl cream while the hair is damp. To enhance the shape, twist individual sections around your finger and then air dry. Avoid brushing dry hair – it breaks up the wave pattern.
Yes, the incredibly flat, light edge makes the method very gentle and well suited to finer hair types too. It distributes the weight evenly across rows, which means minimal wear on your own hair underneath.
If you only want to add fullness and lift your own waves, we recommend a smaller amount of hair fitted. For an extension up to 50–70 cm, you'll need more rows so the thickness looks even all the way down to the ends.
Always compare your own root colour with our natural shades such as black or brown to find a safe match. Our colours have a lovely depth that harmonises easily with your own natural colour variations.
Our human hair can be toned darker with mild toners if needed, to match your own colour exactly. We never recommend bleaching the hair extensions, however, as it dries them out and ruins the hair's fine outer layer.
Wash every other week with moisturising products and detangle with a wide-tooth comb while the hair is damp. Wavy texture loses its shape with heavy products, so stick to light leave-in sprays rather than oils and rich creams.
Unlike standard machine-sewn weft hair, this weft has an even thinner, more flexible attachment edge. This creates a far more discreet, invisible extension that's extra comfortable for daily, long-term wear.
Gather your hair in a loose bun high on your head or braid it loosely. A silk pillowcase keeps the waves intact until morning and reduces friction on the attachments.
