FAQs

How does a colour bomb work?

A colour bomb works like a deeply nourishing mask that also adds temporary colour pigments to the hair. Simply apply it to damp hair after shampooing and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing out.

How often should it be used and how long does the colour last?

The colour result is semi-permanent and normally lasts five to ten washes, depending on your hair's original quality. To keep an intense shade, we recommend using the product regularly every second or third wash.

How does it differ from the traditional hair colour in your range?

Unlike a traditional permanent hair colour, a colour bomb contains no harsh chemicals that open up and damage the hair strand. Instead it works like an intensely moisturising mask that only coats the surface and preserves the quality of your hair.

Who are your colour bombs for?

Colour bombs are perfect if you already have colour-treated hair and want to quickly revive the shade or tone down unwanted warm tones. They're also safe to use on human hair extensions, making them ideal for matching your extensions perfectly to your own shade.

Can I use the colour bomb on my extensions?

Yes, but always do a strand test first. Extensions absorb pigment faster than your own hair. Keep the product away from tape and keratin bonds.

Everything you need to know about Colour bomb & Crazy Color

Colour bomb – nourishing colour between salon visits
A colour bomb is a moisturising mask with semi-permanent pigments. It contains neither ammonia nor peroxide and coats the surface of the hair strand instead of penetrating it. You refresh your shade, tone down unwanted tones or add a temporary colour, and your hair gets some care at the same time.

How to use it
Wash your hair with shampoo and skip the conditioner. Towel-dry so your hair is damp but not dripping. Distribute the colour bomb evenly using a comb and gloves and leave it on for three to ten minutes, depending on how intense you want the colour. Rinse with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

How long it lasts
The colour lasts about five to ten washes, depending on the quality of your hair. To keep an intense shade, repeat every second or third wash.

Use on extensions with care
Extensions have often been treated before and absorb pigment faster than your own hair. Always do a strand test first, and keep the product away from tape and keratin bonds so they don't loosen.
