Frequently Asked Questions about Weave Installation
It is a hair extension where your hair is braided as a base and hairweft is sewn into the braids. Lace frontal is placed at the front to create a natural hairline and a soft frame.
Insertion is when we do everything from scratch with a new base, sewn in hairweft and lace frontal. Reinsertion is when you already have a weave with frontal and we take it out, make a new base and sew it back in so everything ends up fresh and high again.
Consultation, insertion or reinsertion, cutting and styling are included. The package also includes hair extensions.
It usually lasts about 2 to 3 months. The hair can usually be reused, provided it is in good condition and cared for carefully.
A free adjustment is included within 14 days. If the hair is very tangled, extra time may be needed and an additional fee of SEK 500 will be charged. No-shows will be charged 50 percent, and if you are more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule.
If you purchase the hair from us before the application, we make sure that the lace and hair blend optimally with your own skin tone. This color choice is absolutely crucial for creating the illusion of a natural and seamless hairline.
The hand-tied human hair can be toned to some extent by a hairdresser, but strong chemicals must absolutely not come into contact with the lace. Always consult our experts before color treatments to ensure that neither the lace nor the strands are weakened.
A professional application normally lasts about three months before it needs to be moved up at the salon. The lifespan depends on how fast your own hair grows and how well you follow our recommended care advice at home.
Unlike the application of a smaller closure, a frontal covers a much wider area across the entire forehead. This method is therefore ideal for those who want to be able to pull their hair straight back without the extension’s edges showing.
Always put your hair in a loose braid before going to bed to prevent unnecessary wear on your sewn-in extensions. We also strongly recommend sleeping with a satin bonnet to protect the netting and threads from friction against the pillow.
