Come with clean, dry and detangled hair. Avoid oils, hair masks and heavy styling products near the scalp. If you bring your own extensions, they should be clean, dry and detangled.
We create a braided base close to the scalp and sew the extensions in row by row. We then cut the hair in so it blends naturally with your own hair.
Brush your hair gently every day, wash with products made for extensions and dry your hair thoroughly after washing.

Your own hair is braided horizontally along the scalp to create a stable, secure base for the extension. The hair weft is then carefully sewn onto these braids with a special needle and thread, giving a very flat, secure attachment.

The attachment at the scalp isn't affected by heat, so you're free to style the lengths however you like. With human hair extensions you can straighten, blow-dry and curl as usual, provided you always apply a good heat protectant first.
The method is very gentle overall, but if your hair is extremely fine or sensitive we always carry out a careful individual assessment in the salon first. With very fine hair we adapt the technique so the braids aren't too tight, to protect your scalp as much as possible.

Sewn-in human hair wefts can usually be toned or coloured darker at a hairdresser's, but we strongly advise against any kind of bleaching. If you plan to change the colour of your hair extensions, we recommend having it done before fitting.
A sew-in extension usually sits perfectly and securely for two to three months before it needs a move-up as your own hair grows. If you look after the hair extensions as we advise, the weft can be reused several times at your future reinstallations.
Unlike tape or keratin strands, no tape, strong glue or heat is used to attach the hair at the root. Instead, this method is ideal if you prefer fuller hair wefts and want a completely chemical-free fitting.
To avoid tangles and unnecessary wear, always braid your hair into one or two loose braids before bed. A silk pillowcase or soft sleep cap helps keep your hair soft and protects your attachments overnight.
