Insertion of Nail hair extensions:

The placement of the tape loops is very important to get the best and most comfortable result possible. The application area is about 1 cm from the scalp. If you put the attachment too close to the scalp, it can hurt and you may feel sore. If you put the attachment too far down, the attachments can be visible. It is also important to consider how much hair you take to attach each loop. There must be an appropriate amount of hair for each loop, not too much and not too little. If you put the hair extension on too little hair in the loop, the hair can come loose. Even if you take too much hair in the loop.

It is very important that your own hair is freshly washed before insertion. Use products that are not oil-based. Many people make the mistake of applying the hair extensions to greasy hair, which leads to them coming off more quickly over time because oils and grease then remain under the attachments and dissolve the wax. It is also important that the wax melts properly before the loop is applied. If the wax does not melt properly, the attachment may not surround your hair properly, which increases the risk of the loops coming loose. Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after insertion.

  • Please wash your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo before inserting the Nail hair extensions, or wash your hair twice.
  • Divide the hair into different sections, preferably with a pin comb so that the bone becomes clear.
  • Take the appropriate amount of your own hair
  • Pull the hair through the plastic pocket and secure the plastic pocket with a clip
  • Place the strand of your own hair in the Nail hair attachment, then melt the wax with a hot tong.
  • Shape the wax around your own hair using your fingertips. It is important that the wax surrounds your own hair properly
  • Repeat this process until all tape extensions are in
  • Give the wax time to set properly by not washing and only styling lightly for 48 hours.

Removal of Nail hair extensions

  • Apply Keratin Wax Remover to the Nail Hair Extension attachment.
  • Loosen the wax with a pair of pliers. Sometimes you may need to work with the pliers for a while before the wax comes off. Be careful not to pull too hard and damage your own hair. It can help to hold your own hair so that too much weight is not put on your own hair.
  • Then comb out any wax residue.
The replacement ring can then be easily reused by applying new keratin wax chips.

Styling

Since all our Nail hair extensions are made from 100% human hair, they can be dyed, blow-dried and styled just like your natural hair. When applying heat, we recommend using a heat protectant first to protect both your natural hair and the extensions. Heat tools should also be used with caution so that the keratin attachments do not melt.

Care instructions

For best durability, a return visit is recommended after 5-7 weeks. Since your real hair gets its nutrition and shine from the roots of the scalp, it is especially important to take good care of the hair extensions so that they do not become dry and lose their shiny appearance. However, never use greasy products such as conditioner, hair mask or oil on the scalp/on the attachments as this causes the attachments to slip and fall. Always sleep with one or more loose braids so that the attachments do not twist around each other during the night.

Ideally, wash your hair 1 to 2 times per week. Brush your hair thoroughly before washing. Always hold at the bottom and brush gently, starting at the ends and working your way up.

  • Feel your attachments daily to ensure they don't twist around each other and cause tangles.
  • For best durability, put your extensions up and avoid soaking them in salt water and chlorine. Chlorine and salt water will dry out your extensions.
  • Wash your hair with shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. Leave the conditioner and hair mask on for a few minutes before rinsing. (Again, avoid applying conditioner and hair mask to the ends.)
  • Never rub your hair when shampooing, but instead stroke and squeeze the shampoo in.
  • Squeeze and finger comb your hair with hair mask and conditioner
  • Squeeze out freshly washed hair with a towel after washing.
  • Air dry your hair or use a hairdryer on low heat.
  • Use only recommended hair care products from KIS on your extensions to ensure the best possible care and quality of your hair. We cannot guarantee the quality of extensions when using other products that may contain ingredients that are not compatible with our extensions.
  • Use a hair extension brush that is designed for hair extensions.
  • If tangled, try to gently untangle the hair and hold onto the clips.
