Deep Wave
FAQs
More than any other texture. The difference between stretched and unstyled length is substantial, so choose a good step longer than you would have in straight hair.
Hair weft, tape, keratin strands and clip-ins. The category gathers every method in Deep Wave texture, in human hair.
Send a picture of your hair in its natural state, not stretched or freshly blow dried. The pattern varies more between people than the color does, and the pattern is what decides whether the transition shows.
No, the color is forgiving here. The curls scatter light so that small differences in shade disappear. It is the curl pattern that needs the most care, not the shade.
All our Deep Wave hair extensions are Luxury Remy hair, with all strands running the same direction for the least tangling and the longest lifespan.
Sebum has the hardest time travelling down a tight curl, and extensions get no sebum at all from the scalp. That is why a mask is needed more often here than in any other texture.
Never dry and never with a brush. Detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while the hair is damp and conditioned, otherwise the pattern breaks up and the hair frizzes.
Tape and keratin strands are the gentlest on fine or thin hair. Hair wefts need more of your own hair to sit in.
Tape is moved up every 8–10 weeks, micro rings every 2–3 months. Keratin strands last 3–4 months and are then reset. Clip-ins you take out whenever you like.
Clip-ins you put in yourself in a few minutes. Tape, keratin, micro rings and hair weft require a technician – we do that in Stockholm and Uppsala.
