It's hard to google a price for hair extensions, and there's a reason for that: two people booking the same treatment can need completely different amounts of hair. Here is what actually drives the cost.
1. The amount of hair
The single biggest factor. Thick natural hair needs more material for the result to blend evenly – otherwise the transition shows.
2. The length
Long strands are rarer in production and therefore cost more per gram. The step from 40 to 60 cm is bigger in price than it sounds.
3. The hair quality
Remy-sorted human hair costs more to buy but can be moved up several times. Cheap hair that tangles after a month ends up costing more per month of wear.
4. The method
Keratin takes longer in the chair than tape, because each strand is placed individually. The working time is reflected in the price.
5. Maintenance
Expect a move-up roughly every six to ten weeks depending on the method. Think about the total cost over a year rather than just the first visit.
