Tape is the method that lies flattest against the head and is the quickest to apply. The strands are attached in pairs around your own hair and become completely invisible, even in an updo.
1. What? – technique and attachment
Thin strands, glued in pairs around your own hair.
2. Who? – hair type and needs
Fine to normal hair, for length and volume.
3. How long? – wear time and move-up
Move-up every 6–8 weeks.
4. Pros/cons? – strengths and limitations
Pros: quick, flat, invisible. Cons: does not tolerate oily products near the attachment.
Things to consider in everyday life
Avoid silicone- and oil-based products near the attachments, as they dissolve the adhesive. Always brush from the ends upward, and preferably sleep with your hair loosely braided. During the move-up, the strands are removed, cleaned and reapplied with new tape - the same hair can be used several times if it is well cared for.
