Hair extensions in Uppsala are not about choosing the most popular method, but the one that suits your hair. Fine, thin hair cannot tolerate the same attachment as thick, strong hair. Here is an overview of the methods we offer at our salon.
Tape
Thin sections attached between your own hair. They lie flat against the head and are not visible even when your hair is tied up. Suitable for most hair types and quick to apply.
Keratin and nail hair
Small sections attached with heat, one at a time. They provide great freedom of movement and a very natural fall, but take longer to apply.
Sew-in
The hair is braided and sewn in place. No glue or heat at all, making this method gentle - especially for thicker and curly hair.
Clip-on
Put in and removed yourself at home. Perfect when you want volume for an evening without making a long-term commitment.
Which one suits you?
- Fine hair: tape, in smaller quantities
- Thick hair: keratin or sew-in
- Damaged hair: sew-in, which does not put strain on the scalp
- Only occasionally: clip-on
We always assess the condition of your hair before making a recommendation. Sometimes the answer is to wait a few months and strengthen your hair first - we would rather tell you that than sell you a treatment that will not last.
