What determines whether a wig looks natural?
- Hairline: a lace front creates a transparent edge that blends into the forehead.
- Parting: a hand-tied part makes the hair look as if it is growing from the scalp.
- Fit: a wig that is too large slips, while one that is too small feels tight. We always take measurements.
- Colour: a slightly lighter shade around the face adds depth and looks more lively.
Human Hair or synthetic?
Human Hair can be styled, cut and toned - you shape it just like your own hair. Synthetic wigs keep their shape without styling and are easier to manage day to day, but they cannot withstand heat and have a limited lifespan. Many people choose one of each: one for everyday wear and one for special occasions.
How the fitting works
We start by talking about what you want from the wig - everyday wear, work, special occasions or medical needs. Then we take measurements, try several models and make adjustments. You get to see yourself in different lighting before you decide, and we trim the wig to suit your face if needed.
