Wedding hair is mostly about timing. If you get hair extensions too late, you won't have time to get used to them, and if you get them too early, you'll need a move-up shortly before the big day.
The schedule we recommend
- 4–6 months before: consultation. We assess your hair and order the right quality and color.
- 3 months before: installation. You'll have time to get used to them, and we'll have time to make adjustments if anything feels wrong.
- 3–4 weeks before: trial hairstyle with the veil or hair accessories in place.
- 1–2 weeks before: move-up and any toning.
- The day before: nothing new. No new color, no new method.
Up or down?
If you want your hair up, the attachments need to be placed lower than usual so that nothing is visible at the nape. Tell us at the consultation - it affects how we install them. If you're planning a low bun or a braid, a frontal is often a good choice.
Bring the veil
A veil with a comb sits differently in hair with extensions than in your natural hair. Bring it to the trial hairstyle so you avoid surprises on the morning of the wedding.
