Balayage och ljusa slingor med löshår

A balayage look with hair extensions is built in a completely different way than in your own hair. Instead of bleaching afterwards, we choose hair in the right shades from the start and blend them.

Why we don't bleach

Bleaching is hard on hair extensions, and they don't recover. A balayage that looks soft on day one but tangles after a month is no bargain.

How we build the blend

  • Darker strands closest to the scalp
  • Mid-tones in the section in between
  • Lighter strands at the ends and around the face
  • A few strands in your own base colour scattered throughout, so it never looks stripy

Framing the face

We always place the two lightest strands closest to the face. It's the single most important trick for making colour look expensive rather than stuck on.

When your own colour grows out

If you have balayage in your own hair, the blend shifts downwards as your hair grows. At your move-up we adjust the placement of the light strands so the blend moves with it.
