How to use the colour chart

Find your shade in four steps

  1. Look in daylightCheck your hair in natural daylight, ideally near a window. Indoor lighting can give a misleading impression of the colour.
  2. Match lengths and endsCompare the colour chart with your mid-lengths and ends – not your roots, which are often darker.
  3. Consider your undertoneDo you have cool, warm or neutral undertones? That decides which shades blend in best.
  4. Compare with a colour sampleHold a colour sample against your hair before you order – or send us a photo and we will help you choose.

FAQ

Questions about the colour chart

How do I use the colour chart?
The colours are sorted from darkest to lightest, with number, name and an example in the hair. Compare with your mid-lengths and ends in natural daylight, not with your roots.
Which colours are in the colour chart?
1 Jet black, 1B Off-black, 2 Dark brown, 4 Medium brown, 6 Light brown, 8 Chestnut brown, 10 Dark blonde, 12 Medium blonde, 14 Light blonde, 18 Ash blonde, 22 Light ash blonde and 24 Platinum blonde.
What do the numbers in the colour chart mean?
The number shows the level of the colour, meaning its depth – from 1, the darkest, to 24, the lightest. Give the number when you order or ask us for advice.
Are the colours on screen accurate?
We take pride in accurate colour reproduction, but screens can vary, and slight variations may occur because every bundle is unique. A colour sample gives the most reliable comparison.
Which colours suit my undertone?
Cool undertones often suit ash blonde, beige and cool blonde shades. Warm undertones suit golden, caramel and honey shades, and with a neutral undertone you can wear both warm and cool tones.
What if I am between two shades?
If in doubt, choose a slightly lighter shade. If you have highlights or balayage, a mixed colour or two shades can look more natural.
Are the colours in the chart real hair?
Yes. The colours in the colour chart are made from 100% real human hair for a natural look.
Can I order a colour sample?
Yes. The colour sample is a small strand of real Luxury hair and costs 25 SEK. If you buy three you pay for two, and the samples are sent with free shipping within Sweden.
Can I get a personal colour match?
Yes. Chat, email, text or call us on +46 76-415 90 00, or book a free consultation in Stockholm, in Uppsala or online.
Can I send a photo for colour advice?
Yes. Upload a photo on our Send a photo page, taken in daylight from root to tip, and we will get back to you with a recommendation.

Colour chart for hair extensions – how to find the right shade

Our colour chart helps you find the shade that blends seamlessly with your own hair. Here we gather all our colours in real hair, sorted from darkest to lightest, with number, name and an example of how each shade looks in the hair. The colour chart is for you if you are choosing hair extensions, a hair piece or a wig and want a natural result. You can use the colour chart both when you order online and to prepare for a consultation in the salon, so you already have one or two shades in mind.

Our colours from darkest to lightest
The darkest shades are 1 Jet black and 1B Off-black. Next come the dark browns, 2 Dark brown and 4 Medium brown, and in the middle range 6 Light brown and 8 Chestnut brown. The light shades are 10 Dark blonde, 12 Medium blonde and 14 Light blonde, and the very lightest are 18 Ash blonde, 22 Light ash blonde and 24 Platinum blonde. The number shows the level of the colour, meaning its depth – the lower the number, the darker the colour.

How to read the colour chart
For each colour you can see the level, number, name and an example in the hair. The level shows whether the colour counts as darkest, dark, medium, light or lightest, so you can quickly find the right part of the chart. Give the number when you order or ask us for advice, so we know exactly which colour you mean. The colours in the chart are made from 100% real human hair for a natural look, and slight variations may occur because every bundle is unique and natural.

Match to your lengths and ends
Always compare the colour chart with your mid-lengths and ends, not your roots. Roots are often darker than the rest of the hair, and the lengths and ends are where the transition between your own hair and the extensions shows. Check your hair in natural daylight, ideally near a window, as indoor lighting can be misleading. Read more tips in our guide Which colour should I choose?

Undertones – cool, warm and neutral
Your undertone affects which shade suits you. With cool undertones, ash blonde, beige and cool blonde shades usually work best. With warm undertones, golden, caramel and honey shades are ideal. With neutral undertones you can wear both warm and cool tones. Not sure about your undertone? Send us a photo and we will help you assess it.

When you are between two shades
If in doubt, choose a slightly lighter shade. If you have highlights, balayage or several shades in your hair, a mixed colour or two shades can look more natural than a single colour. The extensions do not need to be exactly the same colour as your hair, but they should blend with the overall look.

Screens show colours differently
We take pride in accurate colour reproduction, but screens can vary. What looks ash blonde on a phone can look warmer on a computer. That is why we recommend a colour sample – a small strand of real Luxury hair that you hold against your own hair in daylight. A colour sample costs 25 SEK, if you buy three you pay for two, and we send the samples with free shipping within Sweden.

Personal colour matching
If you would like help from our hair experts, you can chat, email, text or call us on +46 76-415 90 00. You can also send us a photo of your hair, taken in daylight from root to tip, and we will get back to you with a recommendation. If you would rather meet, book a free consultation in our salon in Stockholm, in Uppsala or online.

Can real hair be coloured?
Real hair can usually be toned darker. We recommend having it coloured in a salon to protect the hair. Vegan hair made of synthetic fibre, on the other hand, cannot be coloured, so it is especially important to choose the right shade from the start.

Order with confidence
Our hair is premium quality – ethically sourced 100% real human hair. You pay safely with encrypted payment and can choose to pay later with Klarna, by invoice or in instalments at checkout. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which applies to unopened packaging with an unbroken seal, and we deliver quickly and reliably.

Find your hair extensions
Once you have found your shade in the colour chart, you can choose from our real hair extensions. If you need more help choosing a method, length or product, you will find answers in our hair guide and in our FAQ. Remember that hair extensions are a hygiene product – so check the colour in both daylight and indoor lighting before you open the packaging.
