What is invisible weft?

A hair weft with no seam at the top. The strands are sealed into a thin, flexible band instead of being sewn down, which makes the edge considerably thinner than on an ordinary weft.

What is return hair?

The short strands left behind when the hair is folded over and sewn down in an ordinary weft. They make the edge thick and coarse. Invisible weft has none at all.

Who is invisible weft best suited to?

People with fine hair where an ordinary weft edge builds visible bulk, people with a sensitive scalp bothered by the edge rubbing, and people who often wear their hair up.

How is invisible weft attached?

To a row of microrings, not sewn onto a braid. That gives the flattest possible base and suits the thin top best.

How often does it need moving up?

Every two to three months, since it sits on microrings. The same hair is reused at each move-up.

Invisible Weft – the Difference Is in the Top
An ordinary hair weft has a seam where the hair is folded over and sewn down. The short strands left in that seam are called return hair, and they are what make the edge thick, coarse and sometimes itchy. Invisible weft has no such seam. The strands are sealed into a thin, flexible band instead, which makes the top considerably thinner.

Who does it actually solve a problem for?
Three groups notice the difference most. People with fine hair, where an ordinary weft edge builds visible bulk at the scalp. People with a sensitive scalp who are bothered by the edge rubbing against the head. And people who often wear their hair up, where a thicker edge can otherwise peek through when the hair is lifted off the neck.

How it is attached
Invisible weft is attached to a row of microrings, not sewn onto a braid. That gives the flattest possible base and suits the construction best. It is moved up every two to three months, and the same hair is reused.

Same hair, different top
