Wig repairFrequently asked questions
How does the product/method work?
Erika uses a clever glueless construction with elastic bands on the inside of the wig cap. This keeps it securely in place all day without you needing to attach it with adhesive or skin tape.
Material – what is it and why does it matter?
It's made of 100% human hair, which gives a much softer, more realistic fall than synthetic alternatives. Human hair also breathes much better and gives you complete freedom to style it exactly as you like.
Heat styling – what can it handle?
You can use a flat iron, curling iron and hairdryer without any problem, as the wig is made of natural human hair. It's very important, though, to always apply a good heat protectant first to avoid unnecessary wear on the strands.
Is it suitable for fine/sensitive hair?
Yes, the glue-free cap is well ventilated and therefore incredibly gentle on a sensitive scalp. You avoid all the mechanical wear and skin irritation that strong adhesives and tapes can otherwise cause.
Length and volume – how do you choose?
We recommend choosing a length based on the style you feel most confident wearing every day. The model has a well-balanced density that gives the right amount of volume without feeling heavy on the head.
Choosing a colour – how do you match it?
Use your own skin tone and eyebrow colour as a starting point when choosing from our popular shades. Compare our product photos carefully with your own features to find the colour that frames your face most naturally.
Can it be coloured?
Human hair can usually be toned slightly darker by a professional hairdresser if you want to adjust the colour later. Never bleach the wig, though, as the harsh chemicals permanently break down the hair's quality and structure.
Care & lifespan – how long does it last?
With regular moisturising and gentle handling, this wig keeps its fine quality for many months and often up to a year. To make it last as long as possible, avoid over-washing and frequent heat styling.
How does it differ from similar products in the range?
Erika stands out with an elegant, sleek design that combines the comfort of a glueless cap with a full, natural fall. It's an excellent, reliable choice in our wide range if you're looking for a high-end premium feel.
Storage & sleeping – what should I know?
Always take the wig off before going to bed to prevent unnecessary tangling and friction against the pillow. Keep it on a wig stand overnight so it keeps its lovely shape and is ready to wear the next morning.
