A vegan hair topper in heat-resistant synthetic fibre adds volume and coverage on top of your own hair, exactly where it has thinned. The style is set in the fibre, so the topper looks the same after every wash without any restyling.

How do I attach a vegan hair topper?

Place the topper over the area you want to cover and press the clips into your own hair one at a time. Then brush the topper together with your own lengths.

What does vegan mean?

That the fibre is synthetic and completely free from animal origin – no human hair.

Can it handle heat?

Yes, the fibre can handle up to 120 °C. The shape is already built in, so usually no styling is needed.

Can I colour it?

No, synthetic fibre can't be coloured. If you want to be able to colour it, a human hair topper is a better choice.

Which model should I choose?

Rak or Vågig give volume and length, Kort suits short hair, Med lugg also covers the front, and Lace gives an invisible hairline.

What is a lace base?

A base where the hairline is knotted into a fine mesh that disappears against the skin. It's more delicate than a standard base and shouldn't be pulled when wet.

How long does a vegan hair topper last?

Not as long as a human hair topper, but it needs less care. How long depends on how often you wear it and how you care for it.

How do I wash it?

In lukewarm water with mild products. Squeeze out the water and let it air-dry on a wig stand.

How do I choose a colour?

Match the ends of your own hair to the hair in the topper – that's where they meet. The roots matter less because the topper sits on top.

Vegan Hair Topper – fullness without styling
A vegan hair topper is a hairpiece in heat-resistant synthetic fibre that's placed over the area where the hair is thinnest, usually at the parting or on top of the head. It attaches to your own hair with built-in clips and goes in and comes out in seconds.

The shape is set in the fibre
The fibre is pre-styled, so the topper looks the same after every wash and doesn't need restyling. It can handle heat up to 120 °C but can't be coloured.

Choose your model
Rak and Vågig give both volume and length. Kort covers the top of the head without adding length and suits a short hairstyle. Med lugg gives coverage both on top and at the front, for example with a high hairline. The lace base has an invisible hairline that disappears against the skin.

The right size
Choose a base that's slightly larger than the thin area, so the clips grip stronger hair around it. If you have very little of your own hair left, a wig may suit you better.

Care
Brush from the bottom up with a wide-tooth comb. Wash in lukewarm water with mild products and let it air-dry on a wig stand.
