Halo Hairband – the Hair Rests on Your Head, Not in Your Scalp
A halo hairband is a hairpiece attached to a thin, transparent wire. The wire sits like a crown around the head and carries the weight of the hair itself, rather than pulling on individual strands. Your own top hair is then let down over the wire and hides it completely.

Why it is our gentlest option
No other method we sell puts so little strain on your own hair. There are no clips gripping the roots, no glue against the skin and nothing left in while you sleep or shower. That is why halo is what we most often recommend for a sensitive scalp, fragile hair, or when the hair needs a rest from other methods.

What to know before you buy
A halo needs enough of your own hair on top to cover the wire. If the hair is very sparse in that area the wire can show, and a hairpiece or topper works better. That is the only real limitation of the method, and it is easy to judge in front of the mirror.

How to put it on
Section off the top part of your hair. Place the wire roughly one to two centimetres behind your natural hairline and let your own hair down over it. Comb the transition together gently so your own lengths blend with the extensions.

With or without clips
Some models have small clips at the sides in addition to the wire. They are not needed for the hairpiece to stay in place, but they give extra hold if you move around a lot or want to tilt your head freely. For the absolute minimum of strain, choose a model without clips.

Human hair or vegan
Human hair can be straightened, curled and colored darker, and it moves like your own. Vegan has the shape built into the fiber and looks the same every time without you doing anything, but it handles less heat and cannot be colored.

Care
Take the halo off before you sleep or shower. Brush from the ends upward, wash rarely and only when needed, and let it air dry flat. Store it hanging or flat, not rolled up. Always use heat protection when styling.
