A hole in the lace doesn't mean the wig is finished. Small tears, cracks along the front edge and loose seams can be repaired – for a fraction of the cost of a new wig.
What we repair
We stitch tears and holes in the lace by hand, using thread matched to the thickness of the mesh, and if needed we tie new hair into the repaired area so the repair doesn't show. Loose wefts are sewn back in place. Seams that have come undone in the cap are re-stitched.
How it works
Start by sending photos of the damage – from the front, the back and the inside. We assess the work and get back to you with a fixed quote before we begin. The price shown here is the starting price for a simpler repair; larger damage is priced after assessment.
Once you've approved the quote, you send the wig to us or drop it off at the salon. Allow seven to ten working days from when we receive it.
When it isn't worth it
We'll tell you if we don't think the wig is worth repairing. If the cap is worn throughout or the lace is fragile along the entire front edge, a repair will only be temporary – and then replacing the lace or getting a new cap is a better choice. We'd rather suggest the right fix than the most expensive one.
Good to know
The wig grant from Swedish regions doesn't cover repairs, so you pay for this service yourself, even if you have a requisition (rekvisition).
