Human hair toppers
A hair topper – also just called a topper – is a hairpiece placed over the area where your hair is thinnest, usually at the parting or on top of the head. It attaches to your own hair with small clips and goes on and comes off in seconds. The topper blends with your own hair all around and adds fullness exactly where you need it.

Hair topper or wig?
A hair topper suits you if you still have hair all around but have thinned on top or at the parting, for example after hormonal changes, stress or with age. The clips need to grip your own hair to sit securely. If you have very little hair left, or have lost your hair completely, a wig is a better choice.

Why human hair
Human hair moves and falls like your own. It can be blow-dried, straightened and curled with heat protection, and coloured both darker and lighter at a hairdresser. Our Luxury toppers are Remy hair, with all strands running the same way, which means less tangling and more shine. Classic Hair Topper is human hair but not Remy – a good choice at a lower cost.

Choose the right base
The mono base is hand-knotted and lets you change your parting freely. The silk base gives the most natural look at the parting, as it looks like scalp. The lace base has an invisible edge and suits you if you want to wear your hair up. Fishnet is airy and the most breathable if you wear the topper for long days.

The right size
Choose a base slightly larger than the thin area, so the clips grip stronger hair all around. If you're unsure, send us a photo of your parting from above in daylight and we'll help you.

Fitting, cutting-in and colour matching
At our salons in Stockholm and Uppsala we fit the topper, cut it in to your own hair and match the colour so the transition is invisible. We also use the Luxury Hair Topper Deluxe in our mesh hair extension method, where the topper is attached to stay in longer.
