Care
Wash the wig every other week with care for synthetic hair. It tolerates heat tools up to 120 °C – always use a heat protectant. Store it on a wig stand so it keeps its shape.

What does mono top mean?
It means every single hair is hand-tied through a thin mesh across the whole top of the wig. The hair therefore looks as if it's growing straight from the scalp however you part it, and there's no weave or seam peeking through.
Why is a mono top good for hair loss?
Because the top of the head is where it shows most, and that's where a standard wig gives itself away – especially when light falls from above or when you lean forward.
Does it rub against a sensitive scalp?
The cap is breathable and the wig stays on without glue or tape, so nothing chemical touches your skin. If your scalp is tender after treatment, a thin wig cap underneath can make it even gentler.
When should I order if I'm about to start chemotherapy?
Ideally before your hair starts to fall out. Then you can match the colour to your own hair and get used to the wig in your own time. We're happy to help in a free online consultation. But it's never too late to order.
How does a requisition (rekvisition) work?
Your healthcare provider writes a requisition (rekvisition). We're an approved supplier in all 21 Swedish regions and invoice the region directly, so you don't have to pay up front. Email the requisition to info@fairwithhair.se when you order.
Can I heat style it?
Yes, the fibre is heat-resistant and can take low to medium heat. Start low and test on a small section at the nape first. Overheated fibre melts, and that can't be repaired.
Do I need to restyle it after washing?
No. The fibre regains its shape as it dries. Let the wig air dry on a wig stand and the style will fall back into place without you doing anything.
Can I sleep in the wig?
We advise against it. The hair tangles and the cap wears unnecessarily. Many people wear a soft sleep cap or turban at night instead – we have several to choose from.
Can it be cut to look like my old hairstyle?
Yes. Feel free to send a photo of how you wore your hair, and we'll help you find the right shape in a free online consultation. Bear in mind that synthetic fibre doesn't grow back.
