What decides whether a wig reads as real is almost always the hairline. A lace front wig has a thin, skin-toned lace along the hairline where every strand of hair is knotted by hand. When the lace rests against your forehead, the hair looks as though it grows straight from your head rather than stopping at a visible edge. The difference between Lace Front and Lace Front Plus
Our two models differ in how much lace they have. Lace Front has lace along the hairline at the front, sometimes called t-lace, and is plenty if you wear your hair down or half-up. Lace Front Plus has more lace, which gives you the freedom to style the hair away from your face and move the part within the area of the lace. Plus is our best-selling model and comes in both human hair and vegan synthetic.

Heat-resistant fiber that holds its own shape
Our vegan line is heat-resistant synthetic fiber that handles a flat iron and curling iron at low to medium heat. The big advantage is that the fiber takes back its shape on its own as it dries – you never have to restyle the wig after washing. Coloring is not possible, so the shade you choose is the shade you get. We are happy to help you pick the color before you decide.

The lace is trimmed to your hairline
A lace front wig arrives with the lace untrimmed. For the transition against the skin to be completely invisible, it needs cutting to your particular hairline. We do that for you in the salon, along with adjusting the size and cutting the style if you want it shaped. We can also bleach the knots and pluck the hairline for an even softer transition. It is a step where a lot can go wrong if you do it yourself the first time, and it is often what separates a wig that looks real from one that does not.

Glueless – no glue and no tape
Every wig we sell stays in place on its own with an adjuster at the nape. You need neither glue nor tape, you put the wig on and take it off yourself every day, and your own hair is spared products against the skin. That makes the wig both easier to live with and gentler on the scalp.
