If you're considering hair weft with micro weft, it's reassuring to know exactly what happens at the salon. Here is the whole treatment, step by step.
1. The hair is washed and prepared
We wash with a deep-cleansing shampoo, apply no conditioner at the roots and blow-dry the hair completely. Clean, dry strands help the rings stay secure.
2. The hair is sectioned into rows
- The rows follow the shape of the head
- The sections should be thin and airy
- The placement is tailored to how much volume and length you want, and to where you wear your hair up
The base is what decides whether the hair falls naturally.
3. The micro rings are attached
Small rings are clamped around each section. No chemicals, no heat and no tape – that's the whole point of micro weft.
4. The hair weft is attached row by row
Now the hair weft is secured in the rings. Each row is measured and cut to size exactly, so it lies flat against the head without adding bulk.
5. The hair is cut in
Blending is the most important part. The hair is cut into your own lengths and the shape is tailored to your style. Without this step, the transition shows, no matter how well the rows sit.
6. You get care advice
Before you leave, we go through brushing, washing, how to protect your hair at night and which products work. We also book your move-up right away.
How long does it take?
It depends on your hair type and the amount. One or two rows are quick; several rows take longer. Allow a few hours for a full installation.
