This refill is used to reattach previously worn Nail Hair strands. You melt the wax with a heat iron to encapsulate your own hair and create a new, strong bond.
The bonds are made of durable keratin wax, a material similar to the natural structure of hair. This lets the bond move naturally with your strands and reduces the risk of unnecessary wear on your own hair.
You can style your hair with heated tools as usual after reinstallation of the hair extensions. It's extremely important, though, never to use heated tools directly on or too close to the wax bonds, as the adhesive could melt.
Keratin wax is a very flexible method that's easy to adapt by cutting the wax pieces into smaller parts (known as micro bonds) for a lighter result. This makes the method ideal even if you have thinner, more delicate strands.
As this is refill wax only, it doesn't affect the length or volume of the hair extensions themselves. Simply match the number of wax packs you buy to exactly how many existing strands you plan to refit.
The keratin wax comes in transparent and natural base shades that blend invisibly with the scalp. Choose a wax that's either completely clear or matches your own root colour for the most discreet result.
The keratin wax itself must never be coloured or bleached. If you plan to colour the hair extensions, apply the colour carefully and keep all colouring chemicals away from the bonds so they don't dissolve.
When the wax is fitted correctly and you follow all our recommended care tips, the bonds usually last three to four months. To get the most out of them, it's essential to avoid oily products and high heat near the roots.
Our Luxury wax is specially developed to give an even stronger, more reliable grip than an ordinary standard wax. It's designed not to get sticky, turn white or crumble, even after several weeks of daily wear.
Store leftover wax pieces in their original packaging somewhere dark, cool and dry so they don't dry out or melt. When you sleep, we always recommend braiding all your hair in a loose braid so the bonds don't tangle or get pulled overnight.
