Cocochoco is the keratin treatment you do at home – it tames frizz, adds shine and makes your hair easier to style, without straightening out your texture. Here you will find the whole range: Original, Gold and Onyx, together with deep cleansing, sulphate-free aftercare, styling products and ready-made bundles. The result lasts 3–6 months depending on lifestyle, care and how closely the aftercare advice is followed.

No, the treatment doesn't straighten the hair. It tames frizz and makes the hair easier to style, and curly hair often gets finer, more defined curls. If you want a completely straight result, a relaxer is the right method.

How long does the result last?

About 3–6 months, depending on lifestyle, care and how closely you follow the aftercare advice.

When can I wash my hair after the treatment?

Wait 72 hours (3 days) before washing your hair. Don't put it up or bend it during that time, so the keratin has time to set.

Which version should I choose?

Original suits dry, frizzy hair, Gold adds extra shine to dull and damaged hair, and Onyx is developed for dark and black hair. If you're unsure which version suits your hair, we're happy to help in a free consultation.

What do I need for aftercare?

Sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, as sulphates break down the keratin too early. Both are in the Aftercare Kit. Keratin Repair Mask gives extra care between washes.

Why should I wash with Clarifying Shampoo first?

The deep cleanse removes product and oil residue, so the keratin bonds evenly and the result lasts longer.

Is the treatment suitable for coloured and bleached hair?

Yes, Cocochoco works on both coloured and bleached hair. It's best to colour your hair before the treatment and then wait at least two weeks before colouring again.

How is Cocochoco different from a relaxer?

A relaxer permanently changes the hair's structure and makes it completely straight. Cocochoco tames frizz and adds shine but keeps your natural texture, and the effect gradually fades after 3–6 months.

Which set should I choose?

The Standard Kit gives you 250 ml keratin and Clarifying Shampoo. The Complete Kit also includes sulphate-free aftercare, and the Premium Kit adds Keratin Repair Mask too. If you've already done the treatment, you top up with the Aftercare Kit.

Cocochoco keratin treatment at home
Cocochoco is a professional keratin treatment you can do at home. The keratin tames frizz, seals the cuticle and leaves the hair softer, glossier and easier to style – without straightening your natural texture. Curly hair often gets finer and more defined curls.

How the treatment works
Start by washing your hair with Cocochoco Clarifying Shampoo, which deep-cleanses so the keratin bonds evenly. Then work the keratin into your hair and leave it on for 20–30 minutes. Blow-dry the hair and seal the treatment with a straightener.

Choose the right version
The range consists of Original, Gold and Onyx. Original suits dry, frizzy hair, Gold adds extra shine to dull and damaged hair, and Onyx is developed for dark and black hair. If you're unsure which version suits your hair, we're happy to help in a free consultation.

Aftercare that makes the result last

Styling and protection
If you use a hairdryer, straightener or curling iron, Cocochoco Protection Spray protects your hair against heat up to 240 °C. Diamond Drops is a light hair serum that adds shine, reduces frizz and makes the hair easier to detangle.
