Frequently asked questions

What is a hair weft?

A long row of hair sewn into a thin top edge. It's attached to your own hair in rows, so it builds a lot of volume in a short time.

What is the difference between Classic, Premium and Luxury?

The same human hair in rising quality. Premium and Luxury are Remy hair, while Classic is human hair but not Remy. You'll notice the difference in how full the lengths feel and how long the hair stays soft.

What does double drawn mean?

That the shortest strands have been sorted out, so the weft is equally thick all the way down to the ends. It shows most on longer hair, where a regular weft would otherwise taper.

What is invisible weft?

A weft with a thin, almost invisible top edge that blends into the scalp instead of feeling like an edge. It lies flat even in fine hair and is attached with micro rings.

How is the weft attached to the hair?

Either it's sewn onto a braid with needle and thread, or it's attached to a row of micro rings. Both methods are free from glue, tape and heat.

How long does it stay in before a move-up?

Both sewn-in wefts and wefts on micro rings are moved up every two to three months. The same hair is reused at the move-up.

Is hair weft right for my hair?

Weft suits normal to thick hair best, as the base needs something to hold on to. If you have fine or thin hair, invisible weft, tape or keratin strands are usually gentler.

Can I make my own clip-ins from a weft?

Yes. Cut the weft into widths that suit your head and sew clips along the edge. Always seal the cut edge, otherwise the hair starts to come loose from the seam.

Can the hair be coloured and heat-styled?

Yes, it's human hair. It can take straighteners and curling irons with heat protection and can be coloured darker or lighter by a hairdresser.

How do I care for the weft?

Brush from the ends upwards, wash with a gentle sulphate-free shampoo and apply conditioner to the lengths and ends, never at the attachments. Use heat protection and braid your hair loosely at night.

Everything you need to know about Weft Hair

Human hair weft
A hair weft is a long row of human hair sewn into a thin top edge. It builds a lot of volume in a short time and can be coloured darker or lighter and heat-styled like your own hair.

Qualities
Classic, Premium and Luxury are human hair in rising quality. Premium and Luxury are Remy hair with the cuticles facing the same way, while Classic is human hair but not Remy. Double drawn is equally thick right down to the ends. Invisible weft has an almost invisible top edge that lies flat even in fine hair.

How the weft is attached
The weft is sewn onto a braid with needle and thread or attached to a row of micro rings, with no glue or heat. Butterfly weft is attached to micro rings through pre-punched holes and is never sewn. Both methods are moved up every two to three months, and the same hair is reused.

Textures and your own clip-ins
We offer straight, wavy, curly and Deep Wave textures plus Yaki, with a shared colour chart. A weft can also be cut and sewn into your own clip-ins – always seal the cut edge.

Installation in Stockholm and Uppsala
We do installation and reinstallation at both salons. The consultation is free.
