Extenda-Bond Plus – Vented Tape for Wig & Toupee

Extenda-Bond Plus goes between your skin and your hairpiece to create an incredibly strong, lasting hold. The tiny built-in ventilation holes continuously let air and moisture through, greatly improving comfort throughout the day.

The tape is made with a medical-grade adhesive in a unique perforated structure. This airy material is key to letting the skin breathe naturally during longer periods of continuous wear.

The tape itself isn't really affected by straightening or curling the wig's lengths. Avoid pointing a hot hairdryer directly at the hairline where the tape sits, though, so the adhesive doesn't soften.

This product is designed to sit directly on the skin and is very popular with toupee and wig wearers. Thanks to its good ventilation, it's one of the gentlest, most comfortable options on the market, even if you have reactive skin.

The strips come pre-cut in a practical standard size that follows most natural hairlines. If you need a more specific shape, simply trim the strips with small scissors before removing the backing paper.

The tape is completely clear and blends in invisibly whatever your skin tone. It also has a matte finish, which effectively stops it shining through the wig's thin lace.

The tape itself obviously can't be coloured and shouldn't come into contact with chemicals. If you plan to colour or tone your human hair wig, the tape must be removed completely before the treatment begins.

Extenda-Bond Plus offers an extremely strong hold that lasts two to four weeks in ideal conditions. How long it lasts ultimately depends on your skin type, your everyday activity level and how thoroughly the skin was cleaned before application.

Unlike our completely smooth wig tapes such as Ultra Hold, this version is ventilated with small holes. That makes it more breathable and comfortable for the skin over time, with no compromise on actual holding strength.

You can sleep as normal with the tape and wig on, as the product is specially designed for several weeks of continuous wear. Store leftover strips in sealed packaging in a cool, dark cupboard.
