Here we have gathered the human hair wigs we recommend for trans women. We chose the styles based on what usually matters most: a hairline that looks natural, a wig that stays secure all day and a size that fits. Every wig in this collection is Luxury, our highest quality in 100% Remy hair, where all strands run in the same direction. That means less tangling, more shine and hair that lasts, even when you wear your wig every day.

Lace Closure, Lace Front Plus and Mono Top
The hairline and the part are what give a wig away first, so we chose constructions that are strong exactly there. Lace Front Plus has hand-tied lace at the front, so the hair looks like it grows straight from your head and can be combed back from the forehead or worn in a ponytail. Lace Closure has a hand-tied part and is durable and easy to care for day to day. Mono Top has hand-tied hair on top and gives a natural part that you can move. We have left out thinner, more delicate constructions here, since they do not hold up as well to daily wear.

We offer size M
Many of our customers need a larger wig than standard. A wig that is too small presses and slips, and one that is too big shows. That is why Luxury comes in S, M and L. S is standard, and M and L are special orders with about 3–4 weeks delivery. Since they are made to order, they cannot be returned, so we are happy to measure your head with you first. Measure around your head with a soft tape measure, along the hairline at the forehead, over the ears and around the nape.

Textures, lengths and colors
The collection includes straight, wavy, curly and deep wave hair. Most styles come in 30, 40 and 50 cm, and Ingrid Mono Top comes in shorter lengths. Length is always measured as straight hair, so curly and deep wave hair looks shorter than the same length in straight. Colors range from black and dark brown to blonde and gray, and since it is human hair, the wig can be colored by a stylist.

Cut and styled to your face
A human hair wig can be cut, blow-dried, straightened and curled just like your own hair. We are happy to cut the wig to suit your face and trim the lace to your hairline, so the result is truly yours. Always use heat protection and keep tools away from the lace. All our wigs are glueless and stay in place with adjustable straps, and if you want extra hold for workouts or long days, glue and tape are available as add-ons.

Durability and service
With normal use, a Luxury wig lasts 1–2 years. If we replace the lace when it wears out, it can last up to 5 years. We recommend a check-up after about 7–9 months, when we replace the lace, re-sew or add hair so the wig gets its fullness back. We also wash and style your wig whenever you like.

Private consultation
All visits are booked in advance, so you get your own appointment and can try wigs on in peace. You are welcome at Fairwithwigs in Stockholm, at our salon in Uppsala or at an online consultation. The consultation is free, and we help you choose style, color, length and size.

Requisition
In Sweden, a requisition for a wig is granted by the region for diagnosed hair loss, and the rules differ between regions. Ask your doctor or care team what applies to you. If you have a requisition, we accept it – we are an approved supplier in all 21 Swedish regions.
