Hijab-friendly hair salon in Stockholm and Uppsala – feel safe from the start

Going to the salon should feel safe, whether you wear a hijab or simply want privacy. That is why we have a private room in both our salons, in Stockholm at Odenplan and on Skolgatan in Uppsala. The room has a door that closes, and all our stylists are women.

A private room with a door

The room is separate from the rest of the salon. You are alone with your stylist from start to finish, and no one else comes in or looks in. Your hair is washed, cut, colored and styled in the same room, so you never have to step out with your hair uncovered.

Female stylists only

Only women work with us. You never need to ask for a female stylist – it is always a woman who takes care of you. We take the time you need, and you decide when to take off and put on your hijab.

All services in the room

Everything we do in the salon can be done in the private room. That includes hair extensions with tape, keratin, micro rings, butterfly weft and sew-in. It also includes cuts, color and highlights, keratin, braids and cornrows, as well as fitting and installing wigs.

Also for you who want privacy

The room is not only for those who wear a hijab. Many who try on a wig after hair loss, or who simply want peace and quiet, also choose the room. You are welcome to bring a friend or relative you feel safe with.
