Aveline is a hand-tied medical wig in human hair, made for you if you wear a wig every day and need it to look real and feel comfortable against sensitive skin.
Silk top – why the parting looks real
The top is a silk top: a double layer where the knots are hidden between the fabric layers and only the hair strand itself comes through. It's the most convincing skin imitation there is, and the difference is clearest right at the parting.
At the front there's a lace front that gives a soft hairline against the forehead, so you can wear your hair away from your face without the edge giving itself away. If you want to understand the difference between constructions, our walkthrough is in Monofilament, mono top and silk base.
Glueless fit
Aveline is held in place with medical silicone panels instead of glue or tape. That means no adhesive touches your skin, which is why it works for many people who react to wig glue during or after treatment.
The inside is light and breathable, and the construction is half lace – lace at the front and machine-sewn wefts at the back – which makes the wig more stable and easier to handle yourself.
Who it suits
Aveline is designed for everyday wear with alopecia or during and after medical treatment. It needs more care than a synthetic wig, because human hair needs moisture added from the outside, but it also lasts considerably longer and can be styled.
If you need something that practically looks after itself day to day, a heat-resistant synthetic style may be a better first choice. We'll tell you honestly which one suits your situation.

Frequently asked questions
Do the silicone panels hold even if you have no hair of your own left?
Yes, that's exactly where they're most useful. Silicone grips against the skin, unlike combs and straps that need your own hair to anchor to.
Can Aveline be cut to suit your face?
Yes. Human hair is cut just like your own, and cutting it in is part of the fitting with us. Just remember that wig hair doesn't grow back – so we go shorter in stages.
Can a silk top handle heat tools?
The hair can, but keep the heat away from the base itself. The fabric base and the knots can't take direct heat, so always start a little way down the lengths and use a heat protectant.
