Butterfly Weft Installation & Reinstallation
Butterfly weft is an extremely flat hair weft with no return hair, installed with micro rings – no glue, heat or sewing into your own hair. The result is full yet discreet, and lies so close to the head that you can barely feel it. We carry out installation and reinstallation in both our salons, in Stockholm and in Uppsala.

Frequently asked questions
Two micro rings are locked together into one bond, and the strands of hair are pulled through the weft's pre-punched holes in the direction of growth. The weft is never sewn, and no glue, tape or heat is used.
Every 1–2 months. The hair is reused – only the micro rings are replaced.
Unlike a traditional machine-sewn hair weft, butterfly weft has no folded-over, prickly hairs at the seam. This makes the bond unbeatably thin, soft and flexible, which greatly reduces the risk of itching or skin irritation.
This gentle method is ideal if you have normal to thin hair and dream of real volume and length without compromising on comfort. It also suits an active lifestyle perfectly, as the thin bonds make it easy to wear your hair in tight, high styles.

No, as long as the amount suits what your hair can carry and move-ups are done on time. The method uses no heat, glue or chemicals.
Most people need one to four rows. For extra thickness, 50–100 grams is often enough; for length and fullness, 150–200 grams.
