Which brush should I use for hair extensions?

What is the difference between an extension brush and a detangling brush?

The extension brush is for daily brushing around the bonds. The detangling brush works out tangles and is great after washing.

What is the compact detangling brush for?

It is smaller and fits in your bag, so you can detangle your hair during the day.

What is the rattail comb used for?

The rattail comb parts straight, even sections at installation and move-ups, and is used to comb out residue after removal.

How do I brush without pulling on the bonds?

Hold the hair near the bonds with one hand and brush from the ends upward in stages.

How often should I brush my extensions?

Morning and evening, and always before you wash your hair. Then no tangles form at the bonds.

Can I brush my extensions when they are wet?

Squeeze out the water first and detangle gently with a detangling brush. Avoid pulling on wet hair closest to the bonds.

Do the brushes work on wigs and hairpieces?

Yes, on wigs and hairpieces in human hair. Brush gently from the bottom up and hold the hair at the hairline.

How do I clean my brush?

Remove loose hairs after each use and wash the brush with mild shampoo and lukewarm water now and then. Let it air dry.

Brushes and combs for hair extensions
An ordinary brush can catch on the bonds and pull on both the extensions and your own hair. Here you will find brushes and combs that are safe to use on extensions, wigs and hairpieces – the same ones we use in our salons.

Extension brush
The extension brush is made for daily brushing. It glides around the bonds without catching, so tape, keratin and microrings stay in place.

Detangling brush
The detangling brush works out tangles and is great after washing, when the hair tangles the most. The compact version is smaller and fits in your bag.

Rattail comb
The rattail comb parts straight, even sections at installation and move-ups. It is also used to comb out residue after removal.

How to brush the right way
Hold the hair near the bonds with one hand and brush from the ends upward in stages. Brush morning and evening and always before you wash your hair. If the hair is wet, squeeze out the water first and detangle gently.

Care
