Luxury Nail Hair is applied by warming small keratin bonds around your own strands with a gentle heat tool. This gives a secure, permanent hair extension that stays in place around the clock.
We use 100% real human hair of exclusive Luxury quality and bonds made of keratin, a protein that occurs naturally in your hair. That makes the extension look entirely genuine and treats your own strands gently.
The hair can be styled with heat tools just like your own if you want to enhance or reshape the curls. You must avoid applying direct heat to the keratin bonds themselves, as they can melt.
Yes, the keratin bonds can easily be cut in half by your hairdresser to create extra light micro bonds. That makes the method very adaptable and safe for finer hair types too.
For a full extension we recommend 100 to 140 strands depending on your own base thickness, and 160 to 200 strands with thicker hair, a short cut or a length of 60 to 70 cm. If you only want to add volume, 40 to 80 strands is usually enough, and 20 to 40 for a few accent strands. The strands are sold in packs of 20 and one strand weighs one gram.
You get the very best result by matching the shade of the hair to your own ends and lengths. For an extra lively, multidimensional impression you can mix two neighbouring shades.
Because the hair is 100% real it can technically be toned to a darker shade. We strictly advise against bleaching of any kind, and all chemical treatment is done at your own risk as it can shorten the lifespan of the hair.
Our Luxury hair has an excellent lifespan, and the application itself usually lasts three to four months before it is time to re-bond. With careful care and plenty of moisture the hair keeps its exclusive quality and soft feel for a long time.
The difference from our standard Nail Hair is that the Luxury range is made from especially carefully selected premium hair with an even longer expected lifespan. This particular variant also has a permanent curly structure, unlike our straight or lightly wavy options.
Comb gently through the hair with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb before bed to separate the curls and avoid tangles. Then braid it loosely to minimise friction and protect both the bonds and the curl pattern overnight.
