This measuring guide applies to all our human hair wigs. Most people never need to measure – but if you're unsure, it takes two minutes, and then you'll know.
S is the standard size
Luxury human hair wigs come in S, M and L. S is the standard and fits the vast majority. M and L are special orders with a delivery time of around 3–4 weeks, and they are not covered by the right of withdrawal because they are made for you. That's why it's worth measuring before you order a size other than S.
Classic and Premium human hair wigs come in one size that fits most, as do our synthetic wigs. Measure anyway if you're unsure – that way you'll know before you order whether it will fit the way it should.
How to measure
Use a fabric tape measure. If you only have a piece of string, that works too – mark the length and measure the string against a ruler afterwards.
- Place the tape measure at your hairline on your forehead
- Take it behind your ears
- Down over the nape of your neck, where your hairline ends
- Back to the starting point
Pull it so the tape sits snugly against your head without being tight. It's a good idea to measure twice.
If you still have your own hair
Measure the way you'll wear the wig. If you plan to have your hair pinned up or braided underneath, measure with it pinned up. The difference can be a whole centimetre.
Adjustable straps
All our wigs have adjustable straps at the nape, so there's some room to play with. The Comfort Cap is held in place only by adjustable straps and a thin edge, with no clips and no combs. This means it can be adjusted without anything pulling on your scalp.
Unsure?
Get in touch with your measurement before you order, especially if you're close to the line between two sizes. It's better to ask than to special-order the wrong size.
